What is ZOK27 used for in aircraft maintenance?
ZOK27 is a gas turbine compressor wash cleaner used during scheduled and on-condition MRO operations to remove fouling from engine compressor stages. Fouling from airborne contaminants — dust, oil mist, insect debris, and salt — reduces compressor efficiency, raises EGT, and increases fuel consumption.
A regular wash schedule with ZOK27 recovers engine performance and extends on-wing time between overhauls.

Is ZOK27 approved for use on CFM56 and LEAP engines?
Yes. ZOK27 holds OEM approval from CFM International for both CFM56-5B (A320 family) and CFM56-7B (Boeing 737 NG) engines, as well as the next-generation LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines. It is also approved by GE Aviation, Rolls-Royce, Pratt &
Whitney, and IAE. Always refer to the applicable engine AMM for specific application procedures and dilution ratios.
